Australia’s heavy vehicle fleet consists of vehicles designed, engineered and manufactured specifically to perform their particular task. Let’s take a look at some common specialist trail types, most of which you may already be familiar with.

You will notice the numerous types of vehicles performing very specific roles.

Amongst tankers for instance can you tell the difference between:

Milk tanker
Fuel tanker
Dry bulk (fertilizer) tanker

Around your suburb or town you are probably familiar with:

refuse collection vehicles
fire units
refrigerated trailers visiting supermarkets
